Connected Safety with Blackline's G7 Calibration Dock

Blackline Safety’s G7 Dock is the simple solution to easily calibrate, bump test and charge G7 wearable devices. Docks can be used with both G7c and G7x models, and accommodate Single-gas, Multi-gas diffusion and Multi-gas pump cartridges.

The G7 Dock works out of the box - simply plug it in to a power supply and a gas cylinder and it's ready to use. Docks leverage the connectivity of the inserted G7 wearable to communicate device test data to the cloud for automated compliance tracking and reporting. No ethernet connection required.

Bump tests and calibrations are straightforward, performed by simply placing a G7 device into the dock. If a G7 is due for a bump test and/or calibration, G7 Dock will automatically perform the required test actions when the device is inserted and the lid closed. Tests can also be prompted manually using the inserted G7 device's LCD screen and menu system.

It is easy to manage changes to the G7 Dock inlet configurations in the cloud-hosted Blackline Live portal. The default configuration is a multi-gas mixture, but docks also support single-gas setups. Each G7 Dock has five ports at the back - four gas inlets and one outlet for exhausting calibration gas.

Blackline Safety designed the G7 Dock to provide economical use of calibration gas, with a low flow rate, delivering maximum value with reliable, simple ease of use.

Features of the G7 Calibration Dock

Intuitive design

The G7 Dock helps keep devices fully compliant according to legislation and business calibration and bump test policies. Managing calibrations, bump tests and device updates are as easy as inserting the G7 device into the dock allowing the dock to the rest. It will automatically charge the device and will place it into a test-ready mode to eliminate any false alerts.

The Dock’s simple design leverages the G7 devices LCD screen, menus, and navigation system. Calibrations and bump tests are straightforward, performed by placing G7 into the dock and closing the lid. If the device is due for a bump or calibration, it will automatically perform the required test action when the dock’s lid is closed.

Internet connection is not required for the G7 Dock and it also doesn’t need to be connected to the Blackline Safety Network to perform calibrations or bump tests. All data is communicated through the connected G7 devices via cellular or satellite networks.

Offering a connected, all-in-one solution

Blackline Safety has designed the G7 Dock to provide economical use of calibration gas, with a low flow rate and it leverages the Blackline Live cloud-hosted monitoring portal to update configurations and store G7 device test data for compliance tracking and reporting.

The default configuration is for a multi-gas mixture, although it will also support single-gas setups. Each dock has five ports at the back of the device - four gas inlets and one outlet for exhausting calibration gas. The G7 Dock can be configured to manage up to four single-gas cylinders. Many organisations leverage the convenience of multi-gas mixtures while others employ single-gas cylinders for the improved cost of detector testing and calibration.

Compliance reporting made easy

Compliance reporting has never been so easy when the G7 Dock facilitates bump tests, calibrations, and general device data reporting. The G7 device is inserted into the G7 Dock a test action is completed, the device will automatically stream calibration and bump test logs in real-time back to the Blackline Safety Live portal.

Gas inlet settings can be configured by Blackline’s Customer Care team. Dock’s server-stored configurations are updated when a G7 device is inserted, and the update is selected from G7’s menu screen.

Multi Dock set-ups

When simultaneous bump testing, calibration, and other test functions are required for multiple G7s devices you can join up to five G7 Docks with connection to the one gas cylinder, allowing for the test functions to be performed across all of the connected devices. The G7 Docks in a multi dock set-up act independently of each other meaning that the docks connected to the same gas cylinder can perform bump tests and calibrations at the same time without interfering with each other.

Blackline Safety G7 Calibration Dock Special Order

When you see 'Special Order' products available for purchase on our website it means they will be sourced on-demand from our suppliers when you place your order. Products typically have this status when the product is not actively stocked within our warehouse but is available to order.

This may be due to the shelf life or the specialty nature of some of our products (ie: gas detection and specialty gases) or the need to custom manufacture a product to fit/suit the application.

Once we have received your order and payment confirmation we will place an order with the Supplier.

Gas Detectors / Specialty gases (ie: short shelf-life products) - may take up to 4 weeks (please note this can vary per supplier availability and manufacturing schedules) to be receipted into our store. You will receive an estimated date of shipping once we have received confirmation from our Supplier.

Custom Manufacturing - for items that require custom manufacturing you will receive an estimated date of shipping once we have received confirmation from our Supplier.

From time to time a supplier may not be able to supply in the time indicated, and items are placed on backorder. If it appears that your order will not be dispatched on time, you will be informed as soon as possible. You will be offered the opportunity to cancel your order at that time, otherwise, your order will be dispatched as soon as the items are available.
